Pharmacological properties.

Ingalipt-N has an antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effect, as well as a cooling and distracting effect. The combination of these pharmacological properties provides a comprehensive pathogenetic therapy of inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract and oral mucosa. Ingalipt-H does not have ulcerogenic and general toxic effects on the body.

Ingalipt-N is intended for topical inhalation use and creates a therapeutic concentration mainly in the focus of inflammation. Sulfonamides (soluble streptocide and sodium norsulfazole) are partially absorbed into the systemic circulation, which reversibly bind to blood proteins: soluble streptocide – by 12-14 %, norsulfazole sodium – by 55 %. In the process of biotransformation, acetylated forms of sulfonamides are formed, in the form of which they are excreted by the kidneys. The Half – Life of soluble streptocide is 10 hours, norsulfazole sodium-1.2 hours.
