Pharmacological properties.


Biologically active substances of the drug have a sedative, antispasmodic effect, reduce the excitability of the central nervous system.

Clinical characteristics.

Indications. Insomnia, neurocirculatory dystonia, increased excitability, neurasthenia – as part of complex therapy.

Contraindications. Hypersensitivity to biologically active substances of the drug. Depression and diseases accompanied by depression of the central nervous system; impaired liver and kidney function; bronchial asthma, hypokalemia, severe obesity.

Interactions with other drugs and other types of interactions. The infusion can be combined with other sedatives and cardiovascular agents. Concomitant use with cardiac glycosides, antiarrhythmic drugs (quinidine), thiazide and loop diuretics, and laxatives may increase hypokalemia. Increases the effect of sleeping pills, analgesics, antihypertensive drugs, cardiac glycosides and alcohol.

Application features.

Special security measures. Use with caution in patients with gastro-esophageal reflux, heartburn, myocarditis, pericarditis, myocardial infarction, bradycardia.

Use during pregnancy or lactation. As directed by your doctor, if the benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus/child.

Ability to influence the reaction rate when driving vehicles or other mechanisms. Use with caution for persons driving vehicles or mechanical vehicles.

Dosage and administration. Place 2 tablespoons of the collection in an enamel bowl, pour 200 ml of hot boiled water, close the lid and insist on a boiling bath for 15 minutes. Cool at room temperature for 45 minutes, strain, squeeze out the rest to the filtered infusion. Bring the volume of infusion with boiled water to 200 ml. Apply in

warm Form 2 times a day for 20-30 minutes before meals: adults and children over 14 years – ⅓ cup, children 10-14 years – ¼ cup, 7-10 years – 2 tablespoons, 6-7 years – 1 dessert – 1 tablespoon. Shake the infusion before use.

Place 2 filter bags in a glass or enamel bowl, pour 200 ml of boiling water, close and leave for 15 minutes. Apply in a warm Form 2 times a day for 20-30 minutes before meals: adults and children over 14 years – 1 cup, children 10-14 years – ½ cup, 7-10 years – ⅓ cup, 6-7 years – 2 tablespoons.

The prepared infusion should be stored at a temperature of 8-15 ° C for no more than 2 days.

The course of treatment is 2-4 weeks.

Children. The drug should be used in children over 6 years of age as prescribed by a doctor.

Overdose. Overdose and prolonged use (longer than 2 months) can cause a violation of the water-electrolyte balance, a feeling of depression, increased fatigue, headache, drowsiness, dizziness, decreased blood pressure, nausea, bradycardia, increased blood clotting, which requires discontinuation of the drug. Treatment is symptomatic (gastric lavage, use of activated charcoal, sodium sulfate).

Adverse reactions. Possible allergic reactions (including hyperemia, rash, itching, skin edema, urticaria, contact dermatitis). With hypersensitivity to Valerian rhizomes with roots, sleep disorders and the opposite excitatory effect may occur. Possible occurrence of abdominal cramps, nausea, impaired intestinal function; headache, feeling weak, dizziness, drowsiness, depression of emotional reactions, bradycardia, arrhythmia, decreased mental and physical performance, hypokalemia.

Expiration date. 2 years.

Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
