Pharmacological properties.


Pharmacodynamics.


HEPATOPHYTE promotes the restoration of liver cells (hepatocytes), improves the antitoxic function of the liver, increases bile secretion, reduces the tone of the gallbladder and biliary tract, increases the concentration of bile acids and reduces the concentration of cholesterol. Moderately helps to reduce blood sugar levels.


Clinical characteristics.


Indications. As part of the complex therapy of liver and biliary tract diseases (chronic hepatitis, chronic cholecystitis, cholangitis, biliary dyskinesia by hypotonic type); as part of the complex therapy of diabetes mellitus.


Contraindications. Arterial hypertension of the third degree, obstructive jaundice, cholelithiasis with stones more than 10 mm in diameter, low blood sugar, acute viral hepatitis, thrombophlebitis, increased blood clotting, acute poisoning of various etiologies; hypersensitivity to any components of the drug or other plants of the Asteraceae family (Compositae/Asteraceae).


Special security measures. It should be used with caution in patients with peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum in the acute stage, cirrhosis of the liver, acute hepatitis, acute cholecystitis and acute pancreatitis; chronic pancreatitis or enterocolitis in the acute phase.


Interactions with other drugs and other types of interactions. Not installed.


Application features.


Use during pregnancy or lactation. There are no data on the safety and efficacy of the drug during pregnancy or lactation, so it should not be prescribed during this period.


Ability to influence the reaction rate when driving vehicles or other mechanisms. The drug does not affect the ability to drive vehicles or work with other mechanisms, but patients with vestibular disorders should be careful until an individual reaction is clarified.


Dosage and administration. 2 tablespoons of the collection brew in 500 ml of boiling water, insist in a closed container for 1 hour, strain.


Adults and children over 7 years of age should take a warm glass (150 ml) 20-30 minutes before meals 3 times a day.


The duration of use is determined by the doctor. Usually, the course of treatment does not exceed 4 weeks. If necessary, as prescribed by a doctor, the course of treatment can be repeated.


Children. The drug is contraindicated in children under 7 years of age.


Overdose. It is possible to increase the manifestations of adverse reactions.


Adverse reactions. The drug is usually well tolerated by patients. However, given its multicomponent composition, mostly with individual hypersensitivity to any of the components or with a violation of the reception regimen, allergic reactions are possible, in particular:


from the digestive system: nausea, vomiting, dyspepsia, heartburn, mild diarrhea;


respiratory system disorders: shortness of breath;


from the urinary system: increased diuresis;


from the skin: allergic reactions, including itching, hyperemia, swelling of the skin;


others: increased pre-existing vestibular disorders.

Expiration date. 2 years. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
